Aboard Spacestation BCN

Aboard Spacestation BCN, originally uploaded by Vimos.

It was a lovely day aboard Spacestation BCN. The mother and child walked under the SkyDome and waited for the next launch of the supply ship. It would seeek out food and other supplies this deep space colony of 100,000 desperately needed.   In just a few minutes the Skydome would reveal a small flickering portal, and the rocket would disappear into the SlipPort. The father, a rocketeer/scientist was the ship’s captain,  lead “hunter and gatherer” for their colony. The child did not remember, but the woman did, how her husband  used to joke about hunting and gathering for the family when he went to the market for juice and eggs. That was all before the invasion, of course.
